Shilpnidhi — an Artiure initiative
Select Size:
A bird circle one another at the centre, necks curved into each other's line, wings unfolding into leaves so that it takes a moment to see where bird ends and foliage begins. Orange, green and white move through the cobalt in a slow rotation. The hansa is an old motif in Indian craft - two birds reading as devotion, or discernment, depending on who is telling it. Hand-painted on a quartz-paste body and low-fired in Jaipur, the traditional way. A quietly good wedding gift, and a good plate for anywhere two people pass each other often.
