No flowers, no figures - just geometry. A white lattice radiates from a small central rosette in ring after ring of pointed arches, each band a little wider than the last, out to the rim. It is the most disciplined thing a blue pottery painter can attempt, because the eye finds any ring that drifts. Traditional Jaipur technique throughout: quartz paste body, freehand brushwork, low single firing that fuses glaze to surface. Pair it with pieces that are busier than it is, or let it hang alone. In a gallery wall of florals, this is the plate that gives the eye somewhere to rest.
