Sushma Mahajan works in watercolours for the vibrance they bring to her compositions. Her style is joyful and bright. With every piece she sets herself a challenge: to hold fine detail in a medium that resists it, and to do it with patience. Geometric precision and anatomical accuracy stay central to her work, and she loves playing with shadow and reflection. She is not bound to a single genre. Diversity is what draws her in. Animals, architecture, vintage cars, temple art, street scenes. Each subject is a new problem to solve.
