Jasper Daniel's paintings explore the psychological landscapes that lie beneath ordinary life. His work returns to memory, identity, solitude, belonging, and the fragile ways we make sense of ourselves and the world around us. Rather than depicting reality as it appears, he paints how it feels. Fragments, erasures, layered surfaces and ambiguous figures give form to emotions that are often difficult to describe.
