Some painters travel to the mountains. Ghazali travels to them in his mind. His luminous landscapes, Himalayan peaks, mist and light are drawn entirely from imagination, not from life. A painter and teacher at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, he works acrylic with his fingers, building quiet, textured worlds where earth and sky meet.
